ICMR
As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) conducts various exams to recruit candidates for scientific positions and fellowships in the field of medical research. However, please note that specific details about the ICMR exams may have changed since then. It is advisable to visit the official ICMR website or contact them directly for the most up-to-date information. Here are some general details about ICMR exams based on the information available up to September 2021:
ICMR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Exam: The ICMR JRF exam is conducted one time in year to select candidates for Junior Research Fellowships in biomedical research. This fellowship provides financial support to pursue research in various Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) research institutes across the country. The exam generally consists of two sections - Aptitude Section and Life Sciences Section.
ICMR Scientist Recruitment Exam: ICMR conducts recruitment exams for the position of Scientists in various grades (B, C, D). These exams are conducted for different scientific disciplines such as Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Epidemiology, Biochemistry, etc. The selection process may involve a written examination followed by an interview or a direct interview.
ICMR Research Associate (RA) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Exam: ICMR also recruits candidates for the positions of Research Associate (RA) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in its research projects. The selection process may involve a written examination, followed by an interview or a direct interview.
